Cleveland – November 1, 2012 - Universal Technical Institute (UTI) launched disaster recovery for its public website www.uti.edu in CampusEAI Consortium CampusCloud. By setting disaster recovery UTI's public website is resilient from natural disasters such as those experienced this week with Hurricane Sandy.
CampusCloud's Disaster Recovery Services provide UTI with cost-effective full-server protection and offers rapid recovery from any outage. CampusCloud's DR Services enable full and differential backups of the UTI public website to dissimilar hardware in geographically redundant SSAE Type II and PCI compliant datacenters.UTI's public website's primary hosting is in CampusCloud – East (located in Cleveland, Ohio) and secondary hosting is in CampusCloud – West – (hosted in Denver, Colorado).
CampusCloud continuously captures changes as they happen and replicates those changes in real-time to CampusCloud, allowing UTI to quickly and efficiently implement a disaster recovery plan to keep www.uti.edu afloat if disaster or downtime strikes. The disaster recovery has been setup using VMware's Site Recovery Manager for dynamic replication between Cleveland and Denver and with dynamic DNS for automatic failover.
CampusCloud is a 24x7x365 high-performance computer cluster, to eliminate up front capital expenditures, to reduce the utilization of the college's technical resources and to ensure high performance, availability, stability and security. CampusCloud features include:
"We are pleased to provide the Universal Technical Institute CampusCloud Disaster Recovery Services," said Anjli Jain, Executive Director of the CampusEAI Consortium.
