Grant Overview
CampusEAI Consortium is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of Campus Portal Grants. The Campus Portal Grant Program is open to education institutions in the United States, Canada, the UK and Australia.
The CampusEAI Grant Program is designed to cover the costs of software, hardware and services associated with the implementation of a Campus Portal solution, an intranet portal that integrates with online learning, administrative computing and student services systems. The Grant offering includes hardware, software, project management, installation and training costs necessary to install and operate a Campus Portal, in the form of a grant which ranges between $250,000 to $1,000,000 in software, hardware, and services, depending on the size and requirements of the school.
Campus Portal includes the following features:
A Campus Portal enables academic institutions to accomplish strategic IT goals and objectives by providing institutions with an integrated technology solution to better cater to the needs of the campus community: students, staff and faculty. It provides all members of the campus community with "single sign-on" to their integrated teaching and learning interests, student services and extra-curricular parts of campus life.
The Campus Portal Grant is designed for institutions seeking to implement an Intranet/Intranet Portal. Recipients of the Grant will receive substantial financial and organizational assistance in integrating a Campus Portal into existing systems and protocols for online and distance education, SIS software and administrative computing, school web properties, student-based web publishing, wireless and e-commerce initiatives.
In addition to receiving goods and services as part of a Campus Portal Grant, recipients will be asked to participate in assessing the efficacy of a Campus Portal and propose new applications and improvements for upcoming updates of the product.
